I have submitted two hlep request in the last month and a half or so and haven't heard anything back from the Palringo team. I just wanted to see if there is any way to get the app to stop locking up on my phone XV6900 (aka HTC Touch). I love the app, I've tried Fring and mobile IM but they just aren't as good. I understand it is free and that you are probably busy. Couls I at least know if you are working on it or not? Please and thank you.

If I use it for more than an hour or so it will do it. Usually it happens when I minimize the application and go do something else, but sometimes it happens while I am using the application. I use a software keyboard and one of the first symptoms is that the keyboard gets very laggy and difficult to use. I have to close the app quickly otherwise I need to do a soft reset to get full functionality back. Thank you for the speedy reply.

 

EDIT: I have also noticed in the last few days (including today) that Palringo won't hold a connection for more than a few seconds. It says dialing instead of connecting when I have a 3G connection. Also it won't send any messages because the connection keeps dropping (obviously). Anyone else having this issue?

It seems to have fixed the memory leak after a couple hours of use thank you. But now my AIM connection is dropping so oftern to the point that it is impossible to keep a conversation going. Palringo stays connected but drops AIM or FBook chat. Whichever I am on... :(

 

EDIT: Also, even with a 3G connection it takes a long time for messages to send. About 1-2 minutes. I cannot navigate away from Palringo or I see reconnect pending and I cannot turn off the screen without it disconnecting either.
