Unable to send message due to MSN Switchboard error.

After speaking with the server team, this is displayed when there is a problem within the MSN network and their error gets passed back to us. 

Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.  If it persists for more than a day, please let us know.

I've raised a bug with the server team, so they will look into it as soon as they can.

This is usually a temporary thing and normally resolves itself after time. In the mean time try the new beta version here, see if that helps.

Just wanted to point out this continues to happen every day, every single time I login my MSN account and always with one user in particular. Considering it happens in the morning, afternoon, and evening and every single day, it doesn't seem to be temporary at all.

I also tried with the Beta but it made no difference.

You guys might want to look into perhaps something on the MSN system sending an unrecognized system/status message which Palringo can't handle, so it misinterprets it.

Is there a debug mode where we could perhaps look at what exactly is hitting Palringo? Can we enable logging?

We will investigate into the issue, it does normally solve itself. But we will try recreate it internally and try solve it.

happens sporadically on my iPhone Palringo... same thing, just bought the app a few days back and started getting this strange message via push notification from time to time. Very annoying. Good thing it hasn't happened yet in the middle of the night. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will not wake me up because of this.

Hi I want to say that this happens because youre contacts are offline, wich is cool because you can find who is hidding from being seen. But the new version is terrible because this feature is no much longer available.. I Want the last version

Yeah it just happened to me again and palringo support kept referring me to this useless thread. I regret spending money on this program...

This is starting to get a bit pathetic...

Each time this problem happens (happened twice today alone) I submit a problem log to Palringo support.

Everytime this happens, the support team tells me to read this useless thread.

And it just keeps repeating....  I can't imagine how difficult it could be to block a message from MSN with a certain set of patterrns, rather than just blindly forwarding the error message to the end user client, sometimes in the middle of the night.

Does anyone know of a way to get a refund from Palringo?  This otherwise very good product has this super annoying bug that makes me want to stop using it.
