noticed in the most recent beta (11.13.09) it says in the changelog that windows mobile users will no longer see avatars/icons unless they're premium users. any word on when you'll start taking my money so i can upgrade to a premium user?

Hi Chris,

Granted there are problems with the Facebook bridge, but quite often they are not at our end but at Facebook's, we have no control over their systems but we do endeavor to keep the bridge working as best we can.

Premium accounts will offer an ever increasing set of advantages which will be expanded over time as new services and features come online - not just specific to Windows versions, but others including the website.

Hi Darryl,

Much as I like Palringo despite its minor flaws, I find myself agreeing with Chris.  Facebook is arguably the most popular plugin for Palringo, and the fact that it's still not working properly is extremely distressing to loyal Palringo users.  The fact that your competition had it fixed within 24 hours and yet it remains broken in Palringo, spreaks volumes.

As a beta tester, I expect to see lots of bugs in the software, but on the same note, I expect to see cutting-edge features, of which I have seen none.  To be frank, the current version of Palringo offers nothing spectacular that I can't get elsewhere, and certainly nothing that I'd be willing to pay for.

Please don't take this harsh criticism as an underhanded complaint and a personal dig, as it is not.  Instead, take it as a voice from your clients that they're currently not happy with the product you offer.

Can someone tell me who the other free multi-client IM applications are for WinMo?  I can't find them anywhere and would like to do a side-by-side comparison with Palringo.

Thanks in advance-

very stupid about the avatars.

I think they should add an option that you can CHANGE YOUR avatar on premium version, not denny to see other people avatar, because it is necessary. I think it will decrease number of users.

If premium user could change your own avatar, taking off that P, I would have already bought it, because using that P is so bad, I prefer without avatar.

This option is coming - just testing it against the various services at the moment.

any chances of releasing a list of what will be included in a premium version? or is that still being...''worked out''. i would imagine its similar to your premium version for the iphone which has been out for a while if i read correctly.

I wouldnt mind paying for premium service like I do for my iphone aswell...the WM version seems a bit more stabler then the iphones version. Keep up the good work guys ur doing fine on fixing issues as fast as you can. I been a longtime palringo user and the service indeed has been alot better...even though file transfer would be the best thing ever that can happen for you guys, with that who will need emails? lol. another I suggest is, when we hit voice tab make the button on the screen bigger sort of like a pop up like on the iphones, i catch my finger slipping off the screen button when talking to ppl in my group or in any other group...in other words make things a little finger friendlier for us resistive screen users, we dont have to use the stylus

Sure, I'll make it so that the button doesn't lose the mouse/finger capture until the button/finger is raised again.  That way even if you inadvertently drag off the button, it'll keep recording.

Premium features will be similar to the iphone version.

File transfer is quite a large change - since it would require P2P  transfers.  It's not planned yet, but might be revisited at some point in the future.

cool thanks ross, its not about the finger being raises, its more about making it finger friendlier..in other words just make the button for the push to talk bigger

Could you please make a premium account for all platform?

I mean.. I may have android / iphone / wm device and I would like to switch between them.  Could I just buy one premium account for all?
