HTC TP2 Won't sleep when Palringo is on

I have the same problem too... It's quite annoying since it drains the battery of my phone if the screen doesn't turn off everytime Palringo is running

Are you using the beta version or the released version?

If you could let us know if this exhibits the same behaviour, that would be great.  We have removed a couple of timers that accidentally got left in the released build.

Alternatively, if that doesn't fix it - is the location service disabled?  That would help us eliminate whether it's access to the cell radio which prevents it from sleeping.

I use the beta and this happens even with the location service disabled on my TP2.

*edited*  the beta works only intermittently - the screen only powers off sometimes and I can't seem to figure out what causes it to not power off the screen.

Any updates on this?  Newest beta (4 Jan) still does this.

Yes, we do read the forums regularly - you've probably noticed that we're very busy at the moment, we're concentrating on adding features and fixing problems instead of replying on here.  Rest assured that your comments are read though and taken into account.  Investigating better battery life is on the list of things to do. 

Sure, I get you're busy, but considering you want us to ultimately pay for your product, I don't think a "hey we're workin' on it!" is out of the question.
