ok so i had been using palringo for a couple months now and suddenly i couldnt click on the list of rooms that i had and i couldnt read pms that some people were sending to me... i have the mac osx leopard 10.5.6 ... so then i deleted palringo from my computer and downloaded it again but now what happens is its not even connection anymore so i cant even use it.. can anybody help?!

It's possible that something when wrong with the configuration of Palringo itself - try clearing Palringo's settings. To do so, make sure Palringo is not running, then go into your ~/Library/Preferences folder and delete the com.palringo.Palringo.pList file.

The next time you will start Palringo, it should be as when you installed it for the first time.

ok i tried that.. but i found a folder called com.palringo.palringo which i deleted then i tried again logging in to palringo.. and still the same thing happened...it says connection in porgress, will try to reconnect but nothing happens after that...

any ideas?

Hmmm. Try right-clicking on the 'Palringo' account under the 'P' tab and set it to 'Offline', then do that again and set it to 'Online', does that help at all?

paringo tab > accounts > im services > palringo > offline.....then i change it to online....

UHHH NOPE NOTHING HAPPENS actually same thing happens...

what is wrong with it?!?!?! this is frustrating haha

Hi there... I have been having this same problem... Palringo would be hung up on the "synchronizing messages" part of the start up and would freeze. I checked for the com.palringo.Palringo.pList file and it wasn't anywhere on my computer (did a search for it). What should I do next?

I'm on a MacBook running OSX v.10.5.8
