Is a version for the new Palm WebOS in the works? I desperately need palringo on my Pre.

There are currently no plans for Palringo on the Palm Pre. Sorry.

That is a shame. It would work wonderfully on WebOS and I really need palringo!

Is it just not in the works? Or not something that your team is interested in developing?

A palm pre version has been considered. But we are busy working on other platforms at the moment, we may see a version one day though.

Yo. Being that this is the only mobile OS that Palm is going to produce/market, don't you think it would be good to jump in there. I know you guys could script one up real easy like. Pass me some internals and let me knock it out for ya. ;-)
 

No biggie either way, I'll only be on my Pre for another couple days; it is just a test unit. I'll be rockin' my TP2 this weekend and then back to the Moto Droid by middle of next week.

Well.... I would pay for this on the pre. Hopefully that will make the palm platform a bit more of a priority eventually.

this is something i would also like to see!

 

particularly now that more networks are taking on webOS handsets, imsure there will be many more to follow!
