Have downloaded this app and must say, it is VERY close to being the perfect social networking/IM'ing app available for the BlackBerry. Can't wait to see it move forward.

Glad to see this come out. I was tired of using .79 on my 8330 with 4.5 from Sprint. Since .84 didn't work, I'm glad to get this! Downloading it now btw.

Nice app.... Few thing to add.... Still network receive and transimt isn't stable.... And app lockes up on attempt to reconnect (sign-in) other wise tested all functions... Acceptable for use... One more thing skype msg only support would be perfect Thank you

Mmm too bad :(

I used Palringo on my old 8110 and loved it. Instango sucks and is slow ...

Any ETA on a Storm-able Version?

Any way to integrate buddy lists from aim into palringo instead of having to redo all my lists?

Also history options for facebook.. When i use the back button it actually closes the message so if i go back to contacts and open a new private chat i cant see anything that was recently said before i pushed the back button..

numus14 - We will be changing the back button to hide chats in the next release. Are you wanting a way of organising your AIM contacts using the groups you set up in AIM? If so this isn't supported I'm afraid.

How about creating a webbased login that we can organize contacts on the web and then it will upload the changes to your blackberry the next time you login?

Or at the very least dont have it combine users into 1 list.. If you want to you can have all facebook users in 1 list and all aim users in the 2nd list.. also the option to have tabed lists.. like how you have right now the main screen then scroll right to buddylist? Let us have each right scroll a different client list if you want to do it that way..

Nice app.  I have been waiting for an IM application that is compatible with QQ.  However, after couple days it stopped working with QQ.  The error message states the QQ client version is too old and for security reason it has been disconnected from the sever.  Any update on that?  Thanks a lot and look forward to see another update.

As the error message suggests, we are using a version of the QQ protocol that is now unsupported. We will try to resolve this but do not know how long it will take.

Google Talk icon appears as XMPP/Jabber under SERVICES. Can we fix this?

We will be correcting this but bear in mind that this is simply cosmetic - GTalk uses the XMPP protocol.

Loving the application but I'm having a few problems with it. Don't mean to sound like a nagger but listing them will by number will probably be the best way to get answers to them.

1. Sound is annoying. Any chance there's a vibrate option when receiving a new message?

2. There aren't any notifications informing us that we've received a new message on Palringo so I'm constantly checking.

3. I know this was mentioned earlier but the back button removes the complete history.

Hopefully, there's a solution to the first 2? If not, just a few suggestions for the next release. Hoping for it to come out soon! Please let me know if anything.

1.01 is my first download. The program is great except for the 'sign in issues', 9 out of 10 times I can't sign in.

We will be addressing 1, 2 and 3 in the next couple of releases and are investigating the 'sign in issues' too - hopefully a fix will make it into the next release.
