Push not working after some time

Hello,

It appears that the Push notification is not working after some time.  Is it getting disconnected from the server? What is the time out time?

 

I saw some discussions on this topic - but all those are slightly dated and it seems all the  problems in the topic are taken care of by now.  Please advise if I am missing somethig. I am using with Google Talk.

What version of Palringo are you using free or paid? The free versions time out is about 2 hours and paid is about 24 hours.

How do you get push notification to work with palringo? I am new to it. I have it set up on the iPhone for that perpose but it does not work. What am I doing wrong?

Have you turned the push notifications on for each individual service and within the iPhone settings themselves?

Push is working great for me on the Free version. Been using it for 2 days. Shall be purchasing Premium for 24 hour connectivity (not that you need it, as you get a message 10 mins before session expires!).


My main reason for premium is that i Like to type in landscape :-)

I am running palringo 2.1.1 and noticed today that push was not working. I had to reboot my iPhone to get push working, for palringo.

I am using free version of Palringo and when I close the programe, do I still get the message? And how does it show up? On the spring board? Or do I have to open palringo to read the MSG? Thank you

We have a new version which we submitted to the app store last week, so should hopefully be out very soon and fix this issue.


If the problems still happens after the update, lets us know again and we can investigate. Thanks.

i am having the same problem, it says connect to itunes to enable push? how do i do this? connect it up to iphones on a computer or what? Please help

Have you synced your iPhone to your computer since the latest update. Are you able to try that to see if it helps?

Hey Tom, I see a lot of questions regarding push being answered quickly in this room.... So here goes.

 

Myself and a few of my contacts are not able to get push notifications for group messages.  PM's show up almost immediately (cheers for that, by the way) but notication that a group message has been received, let alone any info about the message is non-existant.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Group push notification messages are not avalaible in the current version but is something we may add soon. Thanks.
