We've submitted 2.5 to Apple. with any luck it will be approved and available to install soon. :)

Four brand-new themes
There's a theme for every mood and personality with a choice between Palringo, Smooth Blue, Cutesy, and Terminal.

Chat Windows: Re-designed and improved
They're sleeker, more robust, and more usable. A progress indicator makes it clear when messages have finished sending. Sending picture and voice messages is faster and more convenient. Voice messages sound better. The entire chatting experience has been dramatically updated.

Photo messaging: An entirely new experience
Photo previews update in real-time as photos are received revealing the image as it downloads. Clicking photos opens a new photo viewer from which you can browse through other photos sent to a group with a swipe of your finger, or see a gallery of all other images in the same chat window.

Notifications: More control
We've updated the settings screen to allow finer-grained control over new message alerts. Choose to have voice messages play automatically, or select between different alert types for group and private messages. Furthermore, we will alert you when group messages have been missed while in the background, and when users join/leave your groups.

Privacy and Control
We've added the ability to block contacts if they're bothering you. Items in the contact list now show a clear overview of the user's permission inside groups and on the Palringo network. Administering users in your groups is now easier than ever, with revised context menus and admin options.

Enjoy!

Looks like Pal Lite 2.5 was posted, still waiting for the full version.  But playing around with Lite, and it's looking really good so far!

Yeah .. i tried palringo lite.  It looks clean and light .. it seems faster.  The new version has no customization at all .. nothing!!

I hope that the stability of Pal 2.5 is more reliable than the previous versions.  with voice messages, it is very frustrating when the app constantly closes out.  If this is fixed, then I will be happy to pay for Pal.  Until then, i will suffer along with the free version

I've just updated & all my contacts & chat history have disappeared rendering palringo absolutely useless. Has anyone else experienced this? Someone please help!

I updated to the new version and my chat history and contacts were also gone. Also my group page displays none of my groups yet when I go to add the groups I was in it states I'm already in this group but it won't display it. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Pointless update!!! All previous bugs remain such as auto location updating msn STILL not working, msn mobile contacts STILL not showing.... Add to this the fact that a few important features have been removed I'd say that you at palringo really need to get your act (and app) together and stop making pointless updates and just fix the bugs that need fixing instead of saying 'hopefully in the next update'. I paid for this and I'm annoyed that fundamental problems with this app have still not been addressed!!! Sort it out please!

Hi

Yes... very dissapointed with the update!!!  Totally useless!!

It's logging me out after 5 minutes... Option is gone to stay online.

New themes sucks... Why couldnt U just add some new.. not removing the old?

And no history working... Crappy!

How the the hell do I get back  the previous version??????

No more smileys, no more possibility to avoid sleep mode, no more fonts size management...what are you doing guys? Your previous version was much better. I deinstalled the new one to come back to the previous version.

Your update politic is very strange, deleting interresting features is not the best effort you can do!!!!

I really hope you will put these old features in a new update and QUICK!!!
