Hi, Yesterday I purchased the premium version of Palringo to take immediate advantage of push. On my previous Lite version, my location used to update itself regulary on my msn account. With this new version, my status doesnt autoupdate, is this a bug. Ive double checked all settings are correct.

Comon guys, there must be some kind of explanation for this. It's Annoying for me the fact that I have gone and paid for this app only for one of the features I like the most to NOT work....,,, please help me! Edited by N1 at 23 Aug 2009 @ 10:52

Hi N1, we are sorry for the issues you have been having. We have investigated this issue and it should be fixed in the new release.

Hey tom, thanks for the reply. Any chance you could tell me when the next release is due? Also, I've noticed another small bug. I set my status so that when I close palringo my status' get set to 'away'. However, I tried to change the settin back to 'leave as it is' but evry time i open palringo my status' go back to 'away'. I hope that this makes sense. Anyways keep up the good work.

The new version is awaiting approval from Apple and therfore should hopefully be released very shortly.

We have tried to recreate the status problem here but it is working fine for us. Not the best solution but maybe uninstall and readd the app to see if that makes a differnce.

I've just installed the new version and the problem with my location updating is still there. Any news on whether this should be fixed as I was told above that this release would fix the problem.

I'm having the same issue with my MSN. The location update works fine on the palringo account though. I don't use any other IM so I can't say for other accounts.

I was about to make a similar post. Let me just confirm that this issue has been around since the 'significantly different' version of palringo was released, that is, the one where the GUI changed. It's not just premium either, my free version has the same problem . kind regards Terabyte

The Location is just not updating on my msn account, it updates the palringo account as usual. This problem occured for me when I purchased Premium about a month ago. It was working fine for me on msn prior to this. Please sort it!

I reinstalled and it still does not work. Palringo is updating loc fine, but other messenger don't. :(

Tell me when you need help if you can't reconstruct this bug. For me there is just an "auto-apply" missing. If i go on location and "apply" the [loc] awaymsg palringo changes it correctky. Only the auto-function does not work.

Edit: I completly restored my Iphone and Backuped. Same Problem. :(

Any idea when this will be fixed....its anoying me that I paid for something that was originally working perfectly and now having spent my money, it no longer works correctly... Any news on a fix???????

Hi, sorry for the delay. iPhone version 2.5 was submitted to the app store yesterday and we have made sure this issue has been fixed. It should be out soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
