Hi,

Now that the Palringo codebase has been overhauled and refined for the upcoming release of Palringo 2.5 (Premium & Free Versions) we can once again start looking to add new testers to our small but elite testing team!

A tester should be;

  • Able to speak good english and explain bugs and suggestions clearly and concisely
  • Experiened with iPhone applications and be familiar with the main elements of the iPhone User Interface
  • Have a keen eye and be willing to test as many things as they can
  • Online every day - If you are not an active user, then dont bother applying, we have a lot of testing that needs doing
  • Not annoying!  We dont have the time to reply to every message straight away, we will try and get back to everyone, but please dont send us loads of private messages all day!
  • Familiar with Palringo (You have used Palringo for a while, are in a few groups and maybe moderate, own or admin some)
  • Mature - being a Tester means you represent Palringo, so we dont want trouble makers or people who will post screenshots of test builds without permission

Bonus Traits/Skills

  • Being very fluent in languages other than English - we would really like some good German, Italian and French speakers (and others!) to be a part of the iPhone testing team, to ensure that the clients look great in all languages.
  • Some technical knowledge - this usually means you will be able to explain bugs you find better

As you can see, we are quite demanding, and we are now going to be even fussier with accepting new testers onto the team, but in return you will get to see what we are working on and help make Palringo even better.

Send an email to iphone-alpha@palringo.com with your Name, and a little bit about yourself; age, location, languages, what device you use and why you would be good, would be a good start.

Thanks.

Darryl

Hi there. My name is Ian, and I would like to test on the iPhone. I can also test on windows xp, vista, and very soon, seven. I have been using pc's for over 20 years and good experimce with Mac. As a tester I have experience, and have been a paid new product tester at Autodesk head office in California from time to time. I speak some French, not as a native. I use Palringo on my new iPhone 3gs daily, and can load on several pc's. I hope that you find me of interest and look forward to hearing from you soon. Ian

If I already emailed you a couple weeks before you posted this, should I send another email application?

That's not enough that you want. You should fit the rules stated in the first post.

Since German translation is done, and since you don't seem to be able to spell, use English grammar, or read instructions, I don't think that's happening.  =)
