Adding new contacts

Ok, I might be sounding really thick now but how the heck do you add a new contact to Palringo?

I have myself signed in, under the service header is my paringo account, I even added a service, well tried to add google talk as I have a googlemail account but it comes up as XMPP/Jabber but it shows as being online.

So, I now click on the contacts button at the bottom of the screen, click the + button at the top right to add contact then I get stuck! the option I get is User ID then underneath are my 2 accounts then a Add Contact button.....what do I do? all the support says is that I have to choose a provider or somethin but there is nothing there, If I enter my friends email address in the user ID bit it creates an account and shows as offline in the contacts list - she doesn't get any message to accept me which I read was supposed to happen

Please help as its really starting to annoy me and the support page is just no help at all

We have had some issues with this and will investigate. As a work around run the desktop version of Palringo, sign in to your account and try add the contact from there?

Have you figured this prob out? Version of OSX i'm running won't support pal.

I'm having the same issue! My friends are even questioning my comp skills and abilities now and I run an interactive/ad agency!! This is embarassing you know! LOL

We have a new version which we submitted to the app store last week, so should hopefully be out very soon and fix this issue.


If the problems still happens after the update, lets us know again and we can investigate. Thanks.
