How do I set up a Jabber (XMPP) service?

The set-up for Jabber can vary depending on the requirements of the Jabber server with which you want to connect. thus the following is intended as a guide and note that Palringo cannot create Jabber accounts on the fly so you will need to do this before adding the service.

• username: your username
• password: your password
• nickname: whatever you want as a screen name
• server: the Jabber server name
• port: default is usually 5222
• resource: palringo
